Custom flies? Yes, custom flies. Sure they are all the old patterns but there is a twist to them; they are weighted flies. I tie them with three different weighting options depending on the size ordered. I use lead-free wire to accomplish this in 3 sizes. .015", .025", and .035". Standard weighting is 10 wraps of wire on Standard weight wet fly hooks unless otherwise specified. For some of the salmon and sea run trout patterns, I use heavier hooks for larger flies so they get down better in fast water without altering the silhouette. |

Other flies can be requested and will be tied according to availability of materials and as to whether they contain materials that are deemed to come from endangered species in the country they will be used in. |
